bharadvāja uvāca:
śaunakasya mahāsattre vārāhākhyā tu saṃhitā
tvattaḥ śrutā purā sūta etair asmābhir eva ca //
Bharadvāja said: / At the great sacrificial session of Śaunaka, the compendium called Vārāha / was heard from you formerly, O Sūta, by them and by us.
