upaviṣṭo yathāyogyaṃ bharadvājamatena saḥ
vyāsaśiṣyaṃ sukhāsīnaṃ tatas taṃ lomaharṣaṇam
sa papraccha bharadvājo munīnām agratas tadā //
He sat down suitably, by the wish of Bharadvāja. / Then, to that Lomaharṣaṇa, the disciple of Vyāsa, who was comfortably seated, / Bharadvāja put questions before the sages:
