nārāyaṇaḥ paro 'cintyaḥ pūrveṣām api pūrvajaḥ
brahmasvarūpī bhagavān anādiḥ sarvasaṃbhavaḥ //
Nārāyaṇa is the supreme, unthinkable, elder even to the ancients, / having the form of Brahmā, the Lord without beginning, the source of all.
