tato 'rvāksrotasāṃ sargaḥ saptamo mānuṣaḥ smṛtaḥ
aṣṭamo 'nugrahaḥ sargaḥ sāttviko ya udāhṛtaḥ //

then the creation of the downward stream, the seventh, is remembered as human; / the eighth creation is grace, which is described as characterized by sattva;
