hārīta uvāca:
gṛhītavedādhyayanaḥ śrutiśāstrārthatattvavit
guror dattavaraḥ samyak samāvartanam ārabhet //
Hārīta said: / Having completed the study of the Vedas, knowing the essential meaning of the Śruti and treatises, / and having been granted a blessing by his guru, he should properly begin the rite of return [from studenthood].
