brahmovāca:
yaḥ paraḥ prakṛteḥ proktaḥ puruṣaḥ pañcaviṃśakaḥ
sa eva sarvabhūtānāṃ nara ity abhidhīyate //

Brahmā said: / ‘That twenty-fifth principle, the Puruṣa, who is declared to be beyond material nature (prakṛti), / He alone is called Nara in relation to all beings.
