devagandharvayakṣāśca hṛṣyante putrajanmani /
pañcatve te 'pi śocanti mandabhāgyo 'smi putraka //
Gods, gandharvas, and yakṣas also rejoice at the birth of a son,
and when they meet death, they too lament: "I am unfortunate, O son!"
