nābhau samutthitaṃ padmaṃ ravimaṇḍalasannibham /
karṇikākesaropetaṃ patraiśca samalaṃkṛtam //
from his navel there arose a lotus resembling the orb of the sun,
endowed with a pericarp and filaments, and adorned with petals."
