śāṅkare prasthitā dharme ye smṛtyarthabahiṣkṛtāḥ /
kliśyamānāstu kalena te yānti paramāṃ gatim //
Those who have set out on the Śaiva path but are excluded from the injunctions of tradition, / though troubled by time, go to the supreme state.
