ūrdhvarūpaṃ virūpākṣaṃ yo'dhīte rudrameva ca /
īśānaṃ paśyate sākṣāt ṣaṇmāsāt saṅgavarjitaḥ //

Whoever recites [the Vedic texts praising] the upward-faced, the uneven-eyed Rudra, / freed from attachment, sees Īśāna visibly within six months.
