avagāhya tataḥ peyā āpo vai nānyathā budhaiḥ /
dharāyāmakṣipadbhāgaṃ dvitīyaṃ padmasaṃbhavaḥ //

Therefore, water must be drunk by the wise only after bathing in it, not otherwise. / The lotus-born one cast the second part onto the earth;
