gate cādarśanaṃ deve tatra tīrthe mahāmatiḥ /
sthāpayāmāsa deveśaṃ śivaṃ śāntamanāmayam //

When the God had vanished from sight, the wise [Kambu] established / the Lord of gods, Śiva, the peaceful and wholesome, at that pilgrimage place.
