taṃ dṛṣṭvā patitaṃ bhūmau devadevo maheśvaraḥ /
ko haniṣyati mābhaistvaṃ huṅkāramakarottadā //

Seeing him fallen to the ground, Maheśvara, the god of gods, / uttered the roar 'hūṃ', [saying]: 'Who will slay [you]? Do not fear!'
