śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tato gacchen mahīpāla brahmatīrthamanuttamam /
anyeṣāṃ caiva tīrthānāṃ parātparataraṃ mahat //
The venerable Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Then one should go, O protector of the earth, to the unsurpassable Brahmatīrtha, / which is greater than the greatest and higher than other pilgrimage places.
