tatra tīrthe suraśreṣṭho brahmā lokapitāmahaḥ /
caturṇāmapi varṇānāṃ narmadātaṭamāśritaḥ //
At that pilgrimage place, Brahmā, the best of the gods, the grandfather of the worlds, / resides on the bank of the Narmadā for the sake of all four social classes.
