te japantastapantaśca tiṣṭhanti bharatarṣabha /
arcayanti pitḥndevānnarmadātaṭamāśritāḥ //
They remained, chanting and practicing austerities, O bull among the Bharatas, / worshipping ancestors and deities, taking refuge on the bank of the Narmadā.
