brāhmaṇaiḥ saha vidvadbhiḥ praviṣṭaḥ sūtikāgṛham /
svastikaṃ vācayitvāsyāścakre nāmeti rukmiṇī //
Accompanied by learned Brahmins, he entered the lying-in chamber.
Having had benedictions pronounced for her, he gave her the name Rukmiṇī.
