tatra tīrthe tu yaḥ snānaṃ kṛtvā devaṃ namasyati /
sa mucyate nṛpaśreṣṭha mahāpāpaiḥ purākṛtaiḥ //
One who takes a sacred bath in that pilgrimage place and bows to the god / is freed, O best of kings, from great sins committed in the past.
