dvādaśyāṃ kṛṣṇapakṣasya śukle ca samupoṣitaḥ /
gandhamālyairjagannāthaṃ pūjayet pāṇḍunandana //
Having fasted on the twelfth day of the dark fortnight and of the bright [fortnight], / he should worship the Lord of the Universe with fragrances and garlands, O son of Pāṇḍu,
