kṛtavāṃśca baliṃ paścāt pātālatalavāsinam /
sthāpayitvā surān sarvān gato viṣṇuḥ svakaṃ puram //

he afterwards made Bali a dweller at the bottom of the netherworld;
and having re-established all the gods, Viṣṇu went to his own abode.
