uddhṛtā jagatī yena sarvadevanamaskṛtā /
lokānugrahabuddhyā ca saṃsthito narmadātaṭe //
He by whom the earth was lifted up, who is revered by all the gods,
remains seated on the bank of the Narmadā out of a desire to show grace to the worlds.
