ya idaṃ śṛṇuyādbhaktyā paṭhedvā nṛpasattama /
sarvapāpaviśuddhātmā jāyate nātra saṃśayaḥ //
Whoever listens to this with devotion or recites it, O best of kings,
becomes purified of all sin, there is no doubt in this.
