sumerumandarāntāṃ ca nirdahur vasudhāṃ tadā /
bhittvā tu saptapātālaṃ nāgalokaṃ tato 'dahat //
They burned the earth right up to Sumeru and Mandara then; / and having pierced the seven subterranean worlds, it then burned the world of the nāgas.
