sāmaikaṃ sāmavede tu japed devāgrasaṃsthitaḥ /
samyagvedaphalaṃ tasya bhavedvai nātra saṃśayaḥ //
and one sāman from the Sāmaveda while standing before the god, / will surely obtain the complete fruit of the Veda; there is no doubt in this.
