yāvanto bhūtikaṇikā gātre lagnāḥ śivālaye /
tāvadvarṣasahasrāṇi śivaloke mahīyate //
As many particles of sacred ash as adhere to his body in the abode of Śiva, / for so many thousands of years is he honoured in the world of Śiva.
