māse cāśvayuje rājan kṛṣṇapakṣe caturdaśīm /
snātvā tatra vidhānena dīpakānāṃ śataṃ dadet //
And in the month of Āśvayuja, O king, on the fourteenth day of the dark fortnight, / having bathed there according to rule, one should offer a hundred lamps.
