pūjayitvā mahādevaṃ gandhapuṣpādibhir naraḥ /
mucyate sarvapāpebhyo mṛtaḥ śivapuraṃ vrajet //

Having worshiped Mahādeva with fragrances, flowers, and the like, a man / is freed from all sins and, upon dying, goes to the city of Śiva.
