brāhmaṇa uvāca:
yadi prīto 'si me deva yadi deyo varo mama /
asmiṃstīrthe mahādeva sthātavyaṃ sarvadaiva hi //

The brāhmaṇa said: / If you are pleased with me, O god, if a boon is to be given to me, / you must reside always in this pilgrimage place, O Mahādeva.
