īśvara uvāca:
kiṃ te 'dya kriyatāṃ brūhi varado 'haṃ dvijottama /
adeyamapi dāsyāmi ekacittasya te dhruvam //

Īśvara said: / Tell me, what may be done for you today? I am a giver of boons, O best of the twice-born; / I will surely give even what should not be given to you who are single-minded.
