bhṛguruvāca:
praṇipatya bhūtanāthaṃ bhavodbhavaṃ bhūtidaṃ bhayātītam /
bhavabhīto bhuvanapate vijñaptuṃ kiṃcidicchāmi //
Bhṛgu said: / Having bowed to the lord of beings, the origin of existence, the giver of prosperity, who is beyond fear, / I, terrified of mundane existence, O Lord of the universe, wish to make a small petition.
