gṛhāṇi na dvibhaumāni na ca bhūtiḥ sthirā dvijāḥ /
pakṣapātena vo dharmo na ca niḥśreyabhāvataḥ //

[Your] houses shall not be two-storied, nor shall your prosperity be lasting, O Brahmins.
Your righteousness will be tainted by partiality, and will not arise from the pursuit of the highest good.
