kiṃ viṣaṇṇo 'si viprendra kiṃ vā santāpakāraṇam /
mayi prasanne 'pi tava hyetatkathaya me 'nagha //
“Why are you dejected, O best of Brahmins? What is the cause of your distress?
Even though I am pleased with you, tell this to me, O sinless one.”
