tirobhāvaṃ gate deve bhṛguḥ śreṣṭho dvijottamaḥ /
svamūrti tatra muktvā tu brahmalokaṃ jagāma ha //
When the god had disappeared, Bhṛgu, the best and foremost of the twice-born,
leaving his own image there, went to the world of Brahmā.
