yā sā nimnodarābhā vikṛtabhavabhayatrāsinī śūlahastā cāmuṇḍā muṇḍaghātā raṇaraṇitaraṇajhallarīnādaramyā /

She whose belly appears sunken, who terrifies the frightful fear of worldly existence, spear in hand, Cāmuṇḍā, destroyer of skulls, delightful with the sound of ringing war-cymbals, / terrifying the three worlds with many dreadful cries of 'kaha-kaha-kaha', dancing amid the Mothers, dwelling in the cremation ground—may Carmermuṇḍā protect you all!
