divyaṃ varṣaśataṃ yāvajjātamātreṇa bhārata /
tapojapaiḥ kṛśībhūto dṛṣṭo devena śambhunā //
As soon as he was born, O descendant of Bharata, for the span of a hundred divine years / he became emaciated through penance and recitations, and was seen by the god Śambhu.
