dhūmātsamutthitaṃ liṅgaṃ bhittvā pātālasaptakam /
avaṭaṃ dakṣiṇe kṛtvā liṅgaṃ tatraiva tiṣṭhati //
From the smoke, the liṅga arose, piercing through the seven netherworlds;
leaving an abyss to the right, the liṅga stands right there.
