tatra tīrthe nṛpaśreṣṭha kuṇḍaṃ jvālāsamudbhavam /
yatra sā patitā jvālā śivasya dahataḥ puram //
At that pilgrimage place, O best of kings, is a pool born from flame,
where that flame fell when Śiva burned the [triple] city.
