yenaiva sthāpito devaḥ pūjyate varṣasaṃkhyayā /
tāvad yugasahasrāṇi tasya lokaṃ samaśnute //
For as many years as the god installed by him is worshipped, / for that many thousands of yugas he enjoys his world.
