somatīrthe tu yaḥ snātvā pūjayed devamīśvaram /
jāyate sa naro bhūtvā somavitpriyadarśanaḥ //
He who, having bathed at Somatīrtha, worships the god, Īśvara, / having become a man, is born knowledgeable in the Vedas and pleasant to behold.
