mantraiḥ pañcabhir īśānaṃ puruṣastryambakaṃ yajet /
haviḥśeṣaṃ svayaṃ prāśya candrahāsyeśamīkṣayet //
A man should worship Īśāna, the three-eyed Lord, with five mantras; / having himself eaten the remainder of the oblation, he should behold the Lord of Candrahāsya.
