sarvo viṣṇusamāso hi bhāvābhāvau ca tanmayau /
sadasatsarvamīśo 'sau mahādevaḥ paraṃ padam //
For the whole is the aggregate of Viṣṇu, and existence and non-existence consist of him; / he is being and non-being, the Lord, the Great God, the supreme state.
