dināni yāvanti vasetsa kaṣṭe yathākṛtaṃ cintayad devamīśam /
tāvanti saumyāni kṛtāni tena bhavanti vipra śrutinodanaiṣā //
For as many days as he might live in distress, contemplating God the Lord according to what has been done, / for so many [days] pleasant things are produced by him, O brāhmaṇa; this is the precept of revelation.
