kṛtvā tu khaṇḍakhaṇḍāni sa devaḥ parameśvaraḥ /
uvāca prahasanvākyaṃ taṃ dṛṣṭvā gatasādhvasam //

Having broken them into pieces, that god, the supreme Lord, / seeing him free of fear, spoke these words with a laugh:
