lakṣavāraṃ japeddevaṃ gandhamālyaiśca pūjayet /
rātrau svapne tadā paśyedvimānasthaṃ tataḥ kṣipet //

One should chant the name of the god a hundred thousand times and worship him with scents and garlands;
when at night in a dream he sees him seated in a heavenly chariot, he should then throw [himself].
