ṛgvedajāpī ṛgvedī sāma vā sāmapāragaḥ /
yajurvedī yajurjaptvā labhate phalam uttamam //
One who recites the Ṛgveda or knows the Ṛgveda, a knower or master of the Sāmaveda, / or a follower of the Yajurveda reciting the Yajurveda, obtains an excellent fruit.
