svargādāgamya gaṃgeti yathā khyātā kṣitau vibho /
tathā dakṣiṇagaṅgeti bhaveyaṃ tridaśeśvara //
Just as she who came from heaven is famous on earth as Gaṅgā, O Lord, / likewise may I be the Southern Gaṅgā, O lord of the thirty [gods]!
