pṛthivyāṃ sarvatīrtheṣu snātvā yallabhate phalam /
tatphalaṃ labhate martyo bhaktyā snātvā maheśvara //
Whatever fruit a mortal attains by bathing at all pilgrimage places on earth, / that fruit may he attain by bathing [in me] with devotion, O Maheśvara!
