saṅgrāme sadgatiṃ tāta kṣatriyo nidhane labhet /
tadabhāvānmahāprājña sevamāno labhed iti //
A kṣatriya would attain a good destination at death in battle, my dear; / in its absence, O highly wise one, he would attain it by serving [the good].
