evaṃ varṇā yathātvena mūḍhāhaṅkāramohitāḥ /
patanti narake ghore yathāndho girigahvare //
Thus the social classes, deluded by foolish egoism instead of being as they should, / fall into a dreadful hell, like a blind man into a mountain cavern.
