devyuvāca:
kamapyupāyamāśritya utthāpaya maheśvara /
viṣṇuvarjaṃ surānsarvāñjayasveti varaṃ vada //

The goddess said:
"Devising some means, O Maheśvara, revive him;
speak the boon: 'Conquer all the gods, with the exception of Viṣṇu.'"
